Anti-Spam Policy

Minimum standards for compliant and respectful outreach.

Effective September 16, 2026 · Revision 2

Permission and lawful basis

You must have a lawful basis for processing recipient data and meet the sending provider’s consent requirements. SendGrid requires affirmative consent for non-transactional email. Finding an address on a website, buying a list, or verifying an address does not establish consent. Keep evidence of when, how, and for which sender and purpose each recipient agreed to receive messages. Rules may be stricter in the recipient’s country.

Accurate identity

Use a truthful sender name, functioning reply address, accurate subject line, and honest business identity, and the sending business’s valid postal address. Do not conceal who benefits from the message or misrepresent the reason for contacting someone.

Opt-out and suppression

Every automated commercial email must include a clear unsubscribe method. Honor opt-outs promptly and never re-import or re-contact suppressed recipients unless they make a valid new request. 82Leads checks workspace suppressions before supported provider sends.

List quality and monitoring

Do not use harvested, guessed, purchased, or stale lists without appropriate verification and lawful authority. Start with small volumes, monitor bounces and complaints, and pause outreach when quality or relevance is uncertain.

Provider requirements

You must also comply with the policies of your email, AI, hosting, CRM, and data providers. A provider accepting a message does not establish that the message is lawful or wanted.
